Recipes Blog

I love to cook. I love learning new recipes and putting my own twist on them, which essentially means: 1) not measuring anything, and 2) using whatever ingredients I have on hand. This is the best part about cooking, in my opinion! You don’t have to follow a recipe perfectly (unless, you’re making your noni’s or mom’s sauce & meatballs). So, that’s exactly what these recipes are. Use them as a guideline, and if you want to add or substitute anything, go for it! Share your feedback in the comments - I’d love to hear how your recipe came out!

Stuffed Peppers

cut off the tops of the peppers. boil the peppers in hot water for ~10 minutes. brown the meat. drain the juice from the meat, then add onions and chopped pepper tops. add diced tomatoes, jar of sauce, Worcestershire, garlic, salt, oregano, salt & pepper, and cooked rice. stuff peppers and cook for about an hour. top with shredded cheese if desired.
